there is a LOT to be said for me playing it safe in that spot, especially given the pressures of just making that final table. sometimes i really wish that i played a little more smartly instead of ballsy (aka stupidly sometimes)...i would probably have about $2mill or so more in winnings today.

ICM numbers: If Elky is in fact opening 100% and calling 10% (which would put the A9s with which he tank-called near the bottom of his calling range), shoving will show an average profit of $42,746.12 and you'll only get knocked out 6.9% of the time. Which is pretty good.
