I think 3-betting this flop is great for lots of reasons. You have a very legitimate chance to pick up the pot, you have the ability to pick up reads on how people react to your 3-bet and have a good chance of picking up if someone is tanking with the nut flush draw, thus letting us be able to make a correct play against it. If the first guy puts any more money in the hand in any way that seems at all quick or without much mathematical thought, then we can get away from our hand.
I just really expect this to work very often and we have all sorts of blockers in this hand, which are incredibly important when playing a deep NL game when there are so few combinations of hands that would be willing to put all the money in. We lock out a TT combo, its impossible for someone to get crazy with AThh, there is also no double gut shot flush draw available, and I would assume neither player can have 3h5h here. Ah3h and Ah5h are possible for the nut flush draw but we're still favorites over both those hands and his equity hu against the set is still pretty terrible.
