Hey guys, just a little background. I had been semi agressive as of late, but nothing too far out of line. I have very little info on the agressor besides the fact hes from some random country. Anyways, let me know what you guys think about the flop, turn, and what the hell to do on the river:

I guess its important to discuss what kind of range you think he has here by the river.

Bet the turn. There's so much value and it makes the hand a lot easier to play.

As played it's a ****ty spot, how long did it take him to shove the river? If it took a long time I'm more inclined to call but I certainly think you're not good here very often with how big his shove was for.

I like a turn bet too.

I think the timing of his turn check is crucially important to this read. The longer he thought on the turn the less likely I would be to call river, although if he snap checks the turn I'd be wary also.

I'd need a strong read that this guy makes durrrr look like a nit to call the river here, I just don't think people bluff here in this spot too often, especially for their entire stack in a $3K buy-in event. You're folding the top of your range (since I don't think there's any difference between QQ and AA here), it's exploitable, whatever. I think whether to bet the turn in the absence of any reads/history is close. Looking forward to Devo's next article "Normally Distributed Calling Frequencies as a Function of Opponent's Time Taken to Check Behind".

LOL seriously though. I think timing tells are severely underrated and honestly if I was in this spot it's basically what would swing my decision either way. It's close enough that we need other information and since it's not live we don't have much to go on.

edit: and the actual article on timing tells will never be published, but it is written.
