Is this one of the best spots to speak up in order to try to get the fold?
You're right that he has AK. If he had QQ, he would have said "Do you ever have JJ here?" etc...

In his mind, he's told the table his hand of AK. His default is probably to call this spot, so he's basically trying to figure out if there's any way he can fold. When you say "of course I never have AQ", you are making it obvious you want a fold. If I were him, I would peg you squarely on a range of AK, QQ or JJ, and then call.

that 3 bet range you gave for vivek is way out of whack, i think 3bet ranges for good players are always far more polarized than that and arent the same as simple opening ranges. For instance you could easily justify flatting with ATs and 3betting ATo because ATs flops soooo much better, same goes for 3betting like 44 and flatting with TT. 3betting ranges from good players are not as balanced in general as opening ranges for obvious reasons.

I don't at all mind folding in these spots on average as vivek isnt 3betting in this spot too light because hes commited to call a shove from the opener and the stacks are too awkward for it to be a light resteal too often. Though a shove may be slightly +cEV i think i pass on it more often then not, but i suppose if hes tanking with AK then it may be a very profitable spot to 4bet get it in.
