I thought this hand was kinda cool for several reasons, but I'm still not sure If I like how I played it.

Villain is a good thinking player, fairly aggressive postflop, more so in reraised pot that single raised ones. Havent caught him making any huge bluffs but he likes to stab and semibluff. Always seems to build huge stacks the times I've played with him.

Hes not outta line preflop for the most part, so I know my preflopcall is rather marginal (yes 3b'ing is def an option, but I had been doing that to him all day already and felt like he was getting tired of it), but the fact that we are really deep, and I have position makes me think its ok. Also the players behind me havent been crazy with 3bets at all and is playing pretty straight forward so I dont expect fireworks from them.

Once the SB reraises and villain calls, I'm getting the right price to see a flop with my hand even tho having an A in my hand makes it worse vs his 3b range.

I would put SB on something like, strong rundown hands 4-7+ probably with at least one suit, AAxx, strong Ks, good broadway hands, double suited connectors with a gap and possible some double pair combos. Villain has anything he opened preflop with so its impossible to define at this point.

Once the flop comes out, this is a standard cbet for bb with his whole range because he can easily rep AAxx on a board like that and we're gonna have to risk a lot to push him off it.

This is when it gets interesting tho. Villain puts bb all in with a 2k raise. He didnt take much time to think about it, so it was almost instant. I wasnt sure what to make of it. In a way it seemed really strong, but on the other hand.. if he had a hand like 33xx, wouldnt he at least think about it? I also thought he could have some sort of rundown that flopped a wrap, like 4567, 4568, maybe with diamonds just trying to isolate and get it HU, or he could have a random 2xxx in his hand. I dont think he ever raises preflop with 23xx simply because hes been playing solid so far and not shown down trashy hands. 22 could have been in his range, but with the big flopraise, I think we can certainly rule that out as he'd probably try to get more value out of itm and either make a raise that looks more bluffy or just flat. Also I'm not sure if hes ever folding a 2 in that spot, but it has to be taken into considerations since my hands looks so much like 33xx already.

So after defining what I think his range is, I know for a fact that I'm doing great against that range. If he has a random 2xx I'm 48% dog, but if he ever raise/folds it will make my play profitable. Any weak draw I have crushed and if he is a genius and made that raise with 33, at least I have one out right ?

I guess my question is.. is it worth risking 400bb's on a huge flip if called or would u let it go and wait for a spot where u have better equity and have more control in the hand?

Didn't read results yet fwiw.

If Sergei had 4k rather than 2k, I think I like this a lot more as appls is going to bluffraise wider. With Sergei having 2k, he probably has AAxx not planning to fold or maybe a KK with diamonds, repotting from the SB vs a UTG+1 raise I doubt his pf range is all that wide. And since appls knows this, he's probably not raising the flop light very much, and since you have the nut flush draw there aren't many draws he can really show up with, just a wrap and fd, and given your hand that becomes more unlikely. So I think he has at least a 2 most of the time, and would certainly play 33 like this if he had it. I would fold.
