While its possible there was an editing "mistake" I really dont think thats the case, I think it was probably late in the day, Ivey had been playing in Bobbys Room all night every night and then playing the ME for 12 hours a day for 8 days straight. So he is pretty much running on no sleep and been playing poker for an excessive amount of time and simply wasn't paying close enough attention, and like he told Barry he was more wondering what the guy re-raised also as Barry said the ace was the one card Phil didnt want to see and of course it hit,
What I dont get though is that if he was sure the other guy had an ace and he hit it, why pay him off, I'm not sure what the size of the pot was before the action on the river so he may have just been priced into calling, however even if he is priced in the call it still makes it an odd call since he was worried about the ace and it hit but I'm sure he also realized that there was 4 spades were out there and that its possible the the other guy had some random spade. If the call was just for information it seems like it would be an pretty costly move just for info, but who the hell am I to question his play, he obviously seems to know what he is doing.
