Default ESPN WSOP: Main Event Day 8 - Parts 1 + 2

The first half of four hours of Day 8 coverage starts this evening at 9pm ET as the field of 27 goes down to 18.

Hour 1 preview
Hour 2 preview

Gary Wise returns with an article on Antonio Esfandiari, who was gambling on getting a long-term sponsorship deal with a major online site.

About 4 full levels were planned on the final day, so there will be plenty of action and hands to show over the next two weeks.

WoW Norm gives Phil a tongue lashing when he mis-reads his 88 giving him a flush on river..Wonder if he ever realizes he folded the winner?

it's Huff's line, not his.

Loved Ivey needling the dude that was all in QQ vs AK

and giving Lucky Chewy a bunch of crap about Lego Poker.... "you should make a video for us" "oh yeah, anything for you....can I talk strategy?"

Ivey is my good luck charm. I win when watching him on TV.

He mentioned PokerRoad by name, and was just short of over the top regarding Steven Begleiter's Bear Stearns connection. Good stuff.

It did seem a bit excessive, it was as if Norman had just discovered this information.
