and this years mix of players looks bad, not just because of the missing Full tilt guys.

Agreed. Interesting hands can pop up anytime between all sorts of players - though I admit watching Gabe Kaplan bluff Tom Dwan was more entertaining than watching him bluff anyone else.
Not sure about Vanessa at a cash game, she's mostly a tournament player. Be interesting, at any rate.

She started out as a cash-game monster, crushing like 10/20 NLH and PLO online and attributes a lot of her abilities in deep-stacked tournys to this. Weakest part of her game is short-stacked shovebot poker (so she says). Don't think we will have been out of place skill-wise.

I'm aware of her history. I also am aware that high stakes cash is not something she's experienced in. Also aware she's very talented. So, we'll see how she adjusts.

Dishnetwork/GSN in usual fashion have a bunch of episodes on an all are labeled as old episodes so DVR set to record all and hope one is the new episode.

Direct TV is the same way.... Tape a ton of shows and look for the new intro.
