This also shows two of the major differences between the semi-live broadcast and the edited Tuesday night show on ESPN.
1. When watching live, we got a better idea as to how everyone was playing. We noticed when someone opened frequently. Or we might see a player who was a bit more TAG-ish, raising but willing to lay down against a shove. In either case, it puts any three-bet shove into far better context than the highlight reel can possibly demonstrate.
2. On Sands' shove, Hewitt tanked for a few minutes, according to the PokerNews reports. On the live show, we would have seen him hem and haw before making the decision. On the edited show, it takes just a few seconds for him to call.
By the way, for those who didn't see the broadcast, Giannetti opened with KJ in Moutinho's bustout hand.
