Default What Can i say about the gorgous Erika Moutinho

What can i say about the Gorgous Erika Moutinho & Doc Sands ~ except the couple that plays from behind together stays together. What a great run! But what happened to the fairy tale ending ? !0-q and 10-J ? WHY ! ! Did they drive together

I meant nothing by it, I was just saying maybe they could of picked better spots,i know they were both short stacked, but Doc sands had over 2.5 million. and he picked 10-J off to take his stand. it shocked me. Than right after that she made her stand with 10-Q. And that shocked me as well.

I don't remember either play, but those "better spots" often have less to do with the actual value of your cards and more to do with the situation. JT and QT could easily fall within a shoving range if the stack sizes and conditions warrant it.

All right, I'm looking up the respective hands.

SANDS:
Blinds and antes at 60K/120K/15K. John Hewitt opens for t255K in the cutoff. Sands shoves for t2.255 million, which is a tad shy of 19 BBs. Hewitt tanks "for about two minutes*" then calls with AJ. Sands turns over JT

MOUTINHO:
Blinds and antes are same as above. Matt Giannetti opened for t260 (seat is not mentioned). Moutinho shoves for t1.79 million, or nearly 15 BBs, in the SB. Andrew Hinrichsen reshoves for t6.085 million in the BB. Giannette "quickly" folds*. Hinrichsen had woken up with AQ. Moutinho had QT

Neither one of these seem glaringly bad to me. Sands pushed against a late-position raiser. Moutinho got unlucky that the BB had a big hand behind her.

Out of curiosity, what would be your shoving range in each of their spots?

* According to PokerNews.com hand reports.

I seriously meant all this as a joke. They played a great turny. it would of been crazy to see a heads up wsop main event couple.
You ask me what i do in that situation, I couldnt tell you. I wasnt in his shoes. Theres a whole lot i don't know. can i steal with this 2.5 can i see another round of blinds.maybe pick up a hand better than the J-10 off.
But im guessing that 10-J looked like aces. im guessing he was card dead. And the blinds and anti's are killing him. Either way great game.they both played very well.

why wait for aces when you can pick up >500k in chips a huge % of the time. he was obviously in a good spot if the guy tanks for 2 minutes with AJs. he was fodling A9 and worse, and maybe calling like 77+, AT/AJs+

Both incredibly standard plays.
