Paging the TD nits.
Basically, I played some 8-Game recently and remembered how much fun clicking buttons is so decided to play some 1/2 TD (2/4 not running except HU and I don't like giving money away that much). Turns out people are f***ing terrible, but this one guy was destroying both tables - screen name Parasences - and I wanna know if he's good or totally dreadful (he seemed like the worst player alive, but then I don't this game well at all).
I ask 'cas I saw him 3-bet 2-card draws quite a lot predraw, often OOP and this seems pretty awful to me. In one hand doing this he made an 86543 so clearly had something retarded. Another thing he did was open UTG, I 3-bet the BB w/ 7543 (I assume I can't call and folding seemed tight), he capped and patted. He then proceeded to check behind every time I drew 1 and call my river value-bet (I made a T) w/ 97654. I assume he f***ed up every street no (except river)?
You guys may know him having moved up through these games hence the questions. I also wanna know if it's ever right to 3-bet a 2-card draw 'cas I thought it basically wasn't.
If people are interested in my results, I quickly got buried 20 bets by making second-best 8s and value-betting (he was really passive with hands I think are good). Then I made 7s and he played a hand like Tyresias in a home-game. Capped predraw (I had a pat 874), drew 2, capped, drew 1, raised, drew 1, folded. I won, it was fun. Prolly gonna play some more soon so may post hands if someone can tell me how to get the HHs up in Stars' replayer - yes I've forgotten how, yes I've been playing there for a long time and yes it's shameful to have to ask
Oh, and one final question. What am I supposed to do w/ s***ty one-card draws in the blinds when an unknown 3-bets from LP? By s***ty I mean, 8753 or 7653 or something similar (those two seem kinda different, but w/e). How about good, but not 2-w-7 2-card draws 235? I feel like those three are either call, fold, call or fold, fold, call but I dunno.

1. I'm sure there are ways to make 3betting 2cds good, but unless you give it quite a bit of thought I think it will be mostly bad.
2. Definitely don't flat 7543 or any other 1cd unless his UTG range is precisely {1cds, pats} which is unlikely (in general the only common time to stop raising with 1cds pre is when you open and get 3bet by someone who never has 2cds and the pot is going to be HU).
3. Cap or fold the 1cds (depending on raiser and 3bettor, obviously it's not as good to cap 8753 vs a tight utg open and a decent btn 3b as it is vs a loose opener and someone who 3bs 2cds). Call with the 2ww hands. And I'd usually prefer the 8xx3 over the 7xx3 hands.

ya, the really laggy 3b style can work well if you know how to use it. the basic premise behind it is to get alot of bets in early in the hand, then get card ahead/pat and force your opponent to fold. this style will crush a semi-bad nit (which is who i think they target). i dont really see anyone playing it well below 5/10, and even then its beatable.
id usually 3b 7543 there, but if you think he's really tight and only has 1cds+ i may call, draw 2. im not sure about the vbet on the end. he'll have alot more 9's than T's i think
i cant say i know him btw.
i would almost always fold the 7653 and most 7xx3's. 8753 is close. a good range for cold calling 3!'s from blinds is to call like top 90% of your utg 2cd range or something. so id fold 652/642/862 and probably call everything better.
top left corner, little red button for the replayer, the hand # for the raw HH. otherwise press ctrl+i

Railing journeyman might not be the best idea if you're just starting. Read his 2krd post first if you haven't already.

Luckily it seems i have awesome resources in just people i know and talk to some already. Would love to do some railing and sweats with a few guys here, seems like the TD community is way stronger then i realized here
