For those who don't know, there are two ways to stay interactive with the show during the ToadHopNetwork live video streams. I know many of you participated in the live chat back in the UStream days.

1. The "Shoutout" at toadhopnetwork.com/live. This is the comment crawl immediately beneath the screen at the ToadHop Network site. Cons: it requires a $50 annual VIP membership to Heidi & Frank, and the interface is less than great -- similar to the Shoutbox on PokerNews or a comment thread on a typical news story. Pros: I assume it supports the show financially, even if indirectly, and my hope would be that Huff, Stapes or Jacki will eventually take part in the same way they did on UStream. Also, you get access to the archived video streams on the site.

2. The old UStream channel: www.ustream.tv/channel/huff-stapes. While the video doesn't appear there, Teetdogs and I (plus a few others) have continued to use the chat feature of the old show. Cons: the hosts don't, and are unlikely to, participate in that chat. Furthermore, it doesn't get you access to archived content the way option #1 does. Pros: it's free, a true chat interface and any former Two Jacks/Huff & Stapes regular will already have an account.

I've only listened to maybe 6 H&S show this years but the last two I listened too were Toad Hop editions and I think the new format will be great for the show. While the 4 hour shows could be entertaining I think the show overall is now of a better quality because it's constrained two a two-hour slot - so things are more focused. This will no doubt help in attracting new listeners too.
