EPT Grand Final Day 1A
April 28, 2022

The first day of play of the European Poker Tour Grand Final presented by PokerStars.com, saw 396 players plop down EUR10,600 each for a chance at the EPT's most prestigious title of the year.  By the end of the first day, 223 of those players remained, safe for the next day or so but by no means out of the woods (woods oddly enough filled with sharks).

Some of the players who competed on Day 1a and survived include current chip leader Lee Nelson, Dario Minieri, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Chad Brown, Andy Black, Humberto Brenes, Annette Obrestad, Raymond Rahme, and PokerRoad's Daniel Negreanu.

Players who competed but wont be seeing Day 2 include Phil Ivey, Chris Moneymaker, Patrik Antonius and Poppa PokerRoad Barry Greenstein.

Day 1b of the EPT Grand Final at Monte Carlo begins tomorrow.  For more information visit www.EuropeanPokerTour.com.
