Final Table Set For The Caesars Palace Classic
October 29, 2021

Yesterday's Day 2 of the Caesars Palace Classic, cut the total field down to a single solitary table, eliminating 72 players including all of the PokerRoad podcasters that previously had seemed to have such promising chip stacks (a little overly promising actually, due to an apparent chip count reporting error that listed them higher on the leader board than they actually were).

Of the three PokerRoad personalities (Jimmy Fricke, Justin Bonomo and Bryan Devonshire), eagerly being tracked by the PokerRoad community, it was Devo who made it the farthest, getting all the way into the top 20 before busting just shy of the money.

Other players to bust during Day 2 included Dutch Boyd, Tom McEvoy, John Phan, Lee Markholt, Isaac Haxton and last year's champion David Singer.

The final ten players still in contention, with at this point a real shot at the $246,928 first prize include Theo Tran (124,000), Isaac Baron (183,000), Chris Bjorin (208,000), Mark Ketteringham (270,000), Alex Keating (294,000), Jimmy Tran (425,000), Kathy Liebert (475,000), Michael Benvenuti (592,000), Glen Chorny (698,000) and the current chip leader Erik Nomberg (773,000).
