Caesars Classic Concludes With Menlo Making His Mark

One of the more interesting tournaments of the week, the Caesars Palace Classic, wrapped up on Thursday with Issac "westmenloAA" Baron, taking the 2009 title previously held by poker pro David Singer.

Baron beat out a tough final table to earn the $246,928 top prize, a table indicative of the immense amount of skilled players in attendance at this year's event. 

Some of the pros Isaac outlasted at the final table included "the Poker Kat" Kathy Liebert, Glen Chorny, Theo Tran and Michael "WatchOutFish" Benvenuti, who made it all the way into heads-up play with Baron before finally bowing out in second place.

The final table finish positions for the 2009 Caesars Palace Classic were as follows:

1st.  Isaac Baron- $246,928

2nd.  Michael Benvenuti- $129,562

3rd.  Glen Chorny- $76,213

4th. Alex Keating- $60,970

5th.  Jimmy Tran-  $45,728

6th.  Erik Nomberg- $38,106

7th.  Theo Tran- $30,485

8th.  Kathy Liebert- $22,864

9th.  Mark Ketteringham- $15,243
