Breaking Rumor Central News: UIGEA Delayed!
November 25, 2021

Though word is not yet official, numerous media sources including Gambling 911, Bluff Magazine and PocketFives.com, are announcing that efforts to get US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner or Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke to delay the implementation of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, have been successful.

Referencing unnamed high profile sources, implementation of the UIGEA- originally scheduled for December 1st- will apparently be pushed back till June, possibly allowing for members of Congress who have been outspoken against the UIGEA since its inception- like House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank- to get key legislation pushed through that would either eliminate the law or effectively render it moot.
