The All-in For CP 2
December 2, 2021

The second annual All-in For CP celebrity charity poker tournament, arrives this month (12/12/09) at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and once again it looks like this is going to be an event not to be missed.

All-in For CP 2, hosted by Academy Award nominee Jennifer Tilly, is a live Texas Hold 'em poker tournament that aims to raise money for the One Step Closer Foundation, an organization dedicated to easing the lives of those who suffer from Cerebral Palsy by promoting national awareness, financially assisting individuals and families dealing with Cerebral Palsy and by supporting research, whose goal is to alleviate the effects of the disease while ultimately working to find a cure.

Last year's inaugural All-in For CP tournament raised in astounding $44,000 towards these ends and this year it appears organizers are hoping to do even better, with an already impressive tentative list of players planning to attend including Doyle Brunson, Dean Cain, PokerRoad's Barry Greenstein, Montel Williams, Chip & Karina Jett, Layne Flack, former WWE diva Alicia Webb, David 'Chino' Rheem, Freddy Deeb, Shannon Elizabeth, TV's Sam Simon, Tiffany Michelle and many more.

This year's All-in For CP 2, is a $500 + $50 buy-in tournament with $200 re-buys during the first 90 minutes.  50% of all the proceeds from the event will go towards the One Step Closer Foundation, with the other half going to the overall prize pool for the tournament.  The event will also feature a live auction- ideal for those still wishing to help out but not necessarily up for a hearty game of poker.

As this year's event is on Saturday, December 12th, just two days before the start of the WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic, there should be plenty of great players in town with money to spend, making the event not only highly likely to be a success, but in all probability, a really good time as well.
