Annette Makes Waves At Aussie Millions

Annette Obrestad, already one of the top three winningest women in poker, this week claimed yet another title, when she took down event #4 of the 2010 Aussie Millions.

This win in the $1,100 buy-in, Pot-Limit Omaha event, earned Annette $40,000 and officially made her the first women ever to be crowned as an Aussie Millions Champion.

To earn what also would be her first major live Omaha title, "Annette_15," had to outlast a total field of 160 players and survive a tough final table that held among others, professional players Tony Bloom and Emad Tahtouh.

The final table finish positions for the 2010 Aussie Millions $1,100 buy-in, Pot Limit Omaha event were as follows:

1st.  Annette Obrestad- $40,000

2nd.  Billy Seri- $31,200

3rd.  Ryan Gutch- $22,800

4th.  Oliver Gill- $17,600

5th. Con Angelakis-  $11,200

6th.  Emad Tahtouh- $8,800

7th.  Paul Taylor- $6,400

8th.  Tony Bloom- $4,800

9th.  Michael Sampieri- $3,200
