Borgata Winter Poker Open: The Numbers
February 2, 2022
The 2011 Borgata Winter Poker Open, this year’s version of the event that PokerRoad’s Jeff Madsen won last year for over $625,000, is going strong again in Atlantic City, and though not quite as big as last year’s event, the tournament will once again award a top prize of over a half-million dollars to the victor.

718 players entered this year’s $3,500 buy-in, Borgata WPO, enough to create a total prize pool of $2,369,400.  That pool will pay out the top 72 places, and since the tournament is- as of this writing- already deep into Day 2, that 72 person money bubble should pop any moment now.

Some of the notable pros to make it into Day 2 at the Borgata included Vanessa Selbst, Gavin Smith, Will “The Thrill” Failla and Brian Lemke

This year’s winner of the 2011 Borgata Winter Poker Open will pocket $533,210.  For more information on the surviving players, as they head towards that elusive goal, visit the event’s official blog at www.borgatawpo2011.blogspot.com/.
