Hoyt's Home Robbed
August 25, 2021
Beloved poker player and two time WSOP bracelet winner Hoyt Corkins' home in Las Vegas was thoroughly burglarized recently, robbing him of many of his most valued possessions. In the break-in, the thieves got away with numerous vehicles, including a 2005 customized Jeep, a Doyle's Room branded Yukon Denali, and Hoyt's beloved late model white Harley Davidson motorcycle. They also apparently had time to take his entire safe, along with most of the awards and prizes Hoyt has earned throughout his entire prestigious career, including both of his WSOP bracelets (1992 $5,000 PL Omaha, 2007 $2,500 6-Handed NL Hold 'em).

Given the poker specific nature of many of the objects that were stolen, police are hopeful that the poker community as a whole can help Hoyt recover some of these items and bring the perpetrators to justice. If anyone sees any of the distinctive items listed above or has any information on this crime, they are urged to contact the Las Vegas Metro Police Department at (702) 828-3111.
