Second Day Of The Main Event
September 30, 2021
Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event was a must see for poker tournament fans, as some of the best in the world competed for WSOPE glory. The day's action involved top players like Tom "durrr" Dwan, Phil Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen, Dave Ulliott, Phil Laak, Kelly Kim, Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Dario Alioto, Vanessa Rousso, Chris Ferguson, David "Chino" Rheem, and Andy Bloch.

Of all those players, Bloch undoubtedly faired the best, ending the day in first place with over 300,000 in tournament chips. Joining Bloch on the top ten leader board were other familiar names like Brian Townsend (290,100), Erik Seidel (282,300), John Juanda (252,500), Justin "BoostedJ" Smith (217,700), and Daniel Negreanu (203,700).

More than two-thirds of the field were eliminated on Day 2, including some big guns like Doyle, Dario, de Wolfe, "durrr" and "The Devilfish." After a disappointing day, these dynamic players will join many others, as they wait another year for their next opportunity at WSOPE gold.
