Grrrrr, I am holed up back here in Los Angeles, and being sick is the worst, for sure. I had all of these grandiose plans of coming home and doing fun stuff; heading to Santa Monica to do some shopping, going to movies, and spending some time going out with friends. Instead I have watched about 12,000 movies and am about as bored as I could possibly be. I guess I should be happy though, as I haven\\\'t been sick in about two years or so.

I used to get this weird virus every time I got sick and my throat would close up. Like close up to the effect where we wondered if I would be able to breathe. Yeah, not fun at all. That seems to be a thing of the past (knock on wood), so I have to be happy about that.

Other than being sick, I have been trying to figure out what I want to do for NYE. For some reason I don\\\'t really care this year. I could just as easily chill and not do much at all. Maybe that\\\'s just the sickness talking though...

January is going to be a gnarly travel month, so maybe my NYE apathy has more to do with that than anything else. We will be hitting the Bahamas, Australia, and Atlantic City, all before heading back to LA at all. I know, I know...rough life I have, eh? Haha...
