Yes! It's finally here! It doesn't matter how bad any particular poker player is running when this time of year rolls around, as ALL of us can't help but get excited about what we are about to be throw into. The World Series of Poker is here! It brings with it, of course, eternal optimism. Every player dreams of that elusive bracelet, which comes with a mound of glory and your name immortalized with all the legends of the game. You just can't help but get fired up if you love poker, you play poker, or if you are just in Las Vegas right now...

I've already cruised down to the Amazon Room and it is as impressive as ever. I actually get goose bumps the first day every year, walking back into that room and feeling the excitement rush up on you. It's funny to be so completely on multiple sides of the excitement this year though, as in addition to playing and competing, I am also locking things down for PR.com. It's a totally different excitement that comes with the media perspective, or even the fan one, I would think. It's a bit of a trip to be part of both sides.

We have a ton of cool stuff coming up for the WSOP this year. We will be having video blogfessionals from the likes of Kristy Gazes, Bear, Kevin Saul, Eugene Todd Bro, Paul Wasicka, as well as Phil Ivey. Who knows who else we can pick up along the way? Stay tuned...it's going to be fun!

We also have just added, "The Life Of Ivey", to our repertoire of video content, which is going to spice things up. We'll be following Phil around and seeing what his life is all about, both here at the Series, but also in other settings. Phil can get himself into, and out of, some tight spots, so I promise you guys it'll be more than interesting...

We'll try and bring you the WSOP from every angle that we can possibly think of around here. 'PokerRoad Radio' and 'Big Poker Sundays' will be broadcasting LIVE down here at the Rio, Monday through Friday and on Sundays, respectively.
