Pilgrim Defeats E-Tay To Earn WSOP-C Ring

Brooklyn New York's Dwyte Pilgrim, was the last man standing yesterday after two impressive days of play in the World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah's Rincon event, earning himself $125,775. 

Pilgrim outlasted a total field of 106 entrants that included such top players as Bryan "Devo" Devonshire, Steve Billirakis, Eric "Rizen" Lynch, Shaun Deeb, Matt "allinat420" Stout and Esther "E-Tay" Taylor. 

Taylor made a noble effort yesterday to become the first female player ever to win a major WSOP-C event and almost succeeded, but ended up just one spot shy finally losing to Pilgrim in heads-up play.  For the second place finish Taylor earned over $100,000.

The final table finish positions for the WSOP-C Harrah's Rincon event were as follows:

1st.  Dwyte Pilgrim- $125,775

2nd.  Esther Taylor- $100,620

3rd.  Charles Williams- $75,465

4th.  Christopher Tryba- $50,310

5th.  Thao Thiem- $40,248

6th.  Josh Prager- $35,217

7th.  Pogos Simityan- $30,186

8th.  John McGowan- $25,155

9th.  John Farrell- $20,124
