Down To Ten At Foxwoods
April 7, 2022

Day 4 of the World Poker Tour Foxwoods Poker Classic concluded yesterday, after only eliminating seven players of the day's starting 17.  This of course made for an unusually short Day 4, one that could only be trumped by today's perhaps, as the remaining ten players will now play down to six.

When it came to eliminations on Day 4, it wasn't the quantity but the quality of the players busted that made the day newsworthy.  The quick day spelled the end to the final women in the field, Joanne Monteavaro, Bodog sponsored pro David Williams and Pokerroad's Barry Greenstein- who unfortunately busted in 12th place after an uncooperative day of cards.

Losing marquee names like Williams and Greenstein, certainly caused some disappointment among poker fans in attendance at Foxwoods, but luckily for the rail, there are numerous well known players still in with only ten to go.  Some of the competitors still with chips include Amnon Filipi, Lee Markholt and PokerRoad favorite Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler.

To catch today's exciting Day 5 action head to www.WorldPokerTour.com for chip counts, live updates, photos and video pieces featuring PokerRoad's Amanda Leatherman.
