In an impressively quick turn around, NBC has announced they will begin showing the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship this Sunday, starting with a 2-hour episode scheduled to roll at noon (eastern standard time).

This Sunday's first episode, the first of six, will feature Mike Sexton, Phil Hellmuth, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Gabe Kaplan, Chris Moneymaker, and PokerRoad's Daniel Negreanu.

The NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship presented by GoDaddy.com, is a single elimination, 64-player, bracket style invitational event, which features some of the greatest legends of the game squaring off against each other for a top prize worth $500,000.
