SCOOP Ends With A Bang
April 14, 2022

The PokerStars Spring Championship Of Online Poker concluded this weekend with three, two-day main events, all of which surpassed their posted guarantees.

The low limit, $109 buy-in main event attracted 18,747 players, had a total prize pool worth nearly $1.9 million dollars and awarded a first prize worth $151,203.71- after an agreed upon four-way chop.  The winner of the event was online player "JannotLapin."

The medium limit, $1,050 main event attracted 3,198 players, had a total prize pool worth more than $3,000,000 and awarded a first prize of $502,086.  The winner of that more than half a million dollar first prize, was Team PokerStars Pro J C Alvarado.

The high limit, $10,300 main event attracted 502 players, created a total prize pool worth more than $5 million dollars and had a top prize worth $963,338.  That event attracted nearly every big name internet pro known, but was eventually taken down by "j.thaddeus" after two days of intense play that included a final table that held both Jon "PearlJammer" Turner and Chris "Moorman1" Moorman.
