Rijkenberg Proves Himself A "Constant" Throughout EPT San Remo

20 year-old Constant Rijkenberg, from Amterdam, recently took down the European Poker Tour's largest ever European stop, the EPT San Remo presented by PokerStars.com. 

Rijkenberg outlasted an amazing field of 1,178 players to earn the top prize worth EUR1,508,000 (nearly $2 million USD), outperforming such players throughout the five days as Dragan Galic, Hevad Khan, Greg Raymer and WSOP-E main event champion Annette Obrestad.

The final table finish positions for the 2009 EPT San Remo were as follows:

1st.  Constant Rijkenberg- EUR1,508,000

2nd.  Kalle Niemi- EUR862,000

3rd.  Gustav Sundell- EUR480,000

4th.  William Reynolds- EUR377,000

5th.  Dragan Galic- EUR314,000

6th.  Ovi Balaj- EUR229,000

7th.  Alexander Fitzgerald- EUR171,000

8th.  Danilo D'Ettoris- EUR114,000
