European Poker Tour Day 1B, Wall To Wall Players
April 29, 2022

The second day one of the European Poker Tour Monte Carlo Grand Final presented by, as expected drew even more entrants than the first; however what was surprising, is how many more entrants it drew.

An amazing 539 players sat down to compete on Day 1b of the Grand Final, bringing the total for the event to 935.  As this is the most expensive stop on the EPT tour at EUR10,600 (with the exception of special "high roller" events), such a showing should create the biggest total prize pool for any stop, since the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in January.

Of the 539 initial Day 1b entrants, 227 have already been sent to the rail including PokerRoad's Jeff Madsen, Gavin Griffin, John Juanda, Ylon Schwartz, Gus Hansen, Evelyn Ng, Amit Makhija and American rap star Nelly.

Some of the surviving players that will meet up with the Day 1a survivors tomorrow include Ivan Demidov, David Williams, Vanessa Rousso, Marcel Luske, Jon "PearlJammer" Turner, Max Pescatori, Andy Bloch and tennis pro and PokerStars poker ambassador Boris Becker.
