Clonie's Lawsuit Dismissed
May 5, 2022

Poker pro Clonie Gowen's multi-million dollar lawsuit against the people behind (and in front of) Full Tilt Poker, for a perceived breach of oral contract, was dismissed recently by a US District Court Judge, according to a recent article from PokerNews.com.

The Judge presiding over the case, Judge Robert Johnston, not only dismissed the case but dismissed it "with prejudice" against all of the defendants except Tiltware LLC, CEO Raymond Bitar and Howard Lederer, meaning all of the other Full Tilt pros named in the case  including Andy Bloch, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Phil Gordon, Mike Matusow, Jennifer Harman, Allen Cunningham, Erick Lindgren, Patrik Antonius, Gus Hansen and Erik Seidel, can not be brought into court again for this issue, even if Gowen's legal team decides to appeal the verdict.

The other three defendants in the case were dismissed "without prejudice," leaving them open to possible future filings by Gowen, should she decide to continue to pursue her estimated $40 million dollar claim.
