Stapes To Helm PokerRoad Radio During WSOP
May 26, 2022

According to a recent blog post from PokerRoad CEO Joe Sebok, this summer's highly anticipated Poker Road Radio broadcasts- live from the RIO during the World Series of Poker, will not feature beloved host Ali Nejad but will instead highlight another familiar face, Poker Weekly Updates' Joe Stapleton.

Stapleton will temporarily relieve Nejad of his PRR hosting duties, so that Nejad may pursue some as of yet unspecified "amazing opportunities," which recently became available to him but conflicted with a full summer in Vegas.

As well as helming the flagship podcast on, along with his long time friends Joe Sebok and Gavin Smith, Joe will also continue to co-host the comedy driven Two Jacks In The Hole show, which broadcasts live on Wednesday nights from a studio in Los Angeles, meaning the dedicated Mr. Stapleton may be in for quite the impressive summer of commuting.

Long time supporters of the many incarnations of PokerRoad Radio may remember Joe has filled this role before, bringing to it both his unique comedy sensibilities, in segments such as Sandy the Degenerate [beep] and his self-proclaimed "Game Master" skills, which were properly showcased in games like the highly popular, Race Situations.

Whether these bits return with Joe, or new ones spring fourth from his singularly unique melon, long time fans will tell you, these upcoming shows should not be missed.
