WASSUP '09: Parker Pulls In Another Bracelet
June 11, 2021

Brock Parker, the giant killer that single-handedly stopped Daniel Negreanu from earning his fifth World Series of Poker bracelet last week in Event #14, just earned yet another WSOP bracelet, this time in Event #19- the $2,500 buy-in Six-handed No-Limit Hold 'em.

Parker beat out a total field of 1,068 players to win his second bracelet of the Series including many top pros like Howard Lederer (30th), Erick Lindgren (29th), Bill Edler (49th), Blair Hinkle (26th) and recent addition to the PokerRoad Blogfessional family Layne Flack (68th).

With this score Parker earned $552,745, putting his total winnings during the 2009 series well above $780,000.  As this was Parker's fourth cash so far and his second first place finish, "t soprano" has also earned enough WSOP Player of the Year points to lead the field and make him close to uncatchable for WSOP Player of the Year.

The final table finish positions for the WSOP Event #19 were as follows:

1st.  Brock "t soprano" Parker- $552,745

2nd.  Joseph Serock- $341,783

3rd.  Russell Crane- $220,633

4th.  Jesse Rios- $148,661

5th.  Alexander Wilson- $104,661

6th.  Clayton Newman- $76,123
