WASSUP '09: Event #21, Zac Gets The Win; Gavin Gets To Keep Buying Shampoo
June 12, 2021

Canada's Zachary Fellows, entered yesterday's $3,000 H.O.R.S.E World Series of Poker final day as the chip leader with 21 players remaining, and although not quite able to go wire-to-wire in the event, he did still eventually come up with the victory some 12 hours later, despite dealing with some very intense competition.

The last three tables of Event #21 held many well known and respected pros including Chau Giang, David Baker, Bill Blanda and PokerRoad's Gavin "The Caveman" Smith, who not only cashed in the event but made it almost all the way to the final table before finally busting in a respectable tenth place.

As a side note, thanks to that cash Gavin and his cohorts on PokerRoad Radio will not be forced to shave their heads, as they had promised to do on the show if Gavin was unable to cash at the Series sometime this week.  Because of this, fans of the show wont get to see what an overly tan, bald, Joe Stapleton looks like which is a little disappointing, as personally I was imagining a slightly out of shape Mr. Clean.

Joining Fellows at the 8-person final table were numerous top players as well including Matthew Hawrilenko, Timothy Finne and James Van Alstyne, who of all the players left, gave Zac the most trouble before eventually bowing out in 2nd place.

For the victory Fellows earned $311,899 and his first WSOP bracelet.

The final table finish positions for Event #21 were as follows:

1st.  Zachary Fellows- $311,899

2nd.  James Van Alstyne- $192,866

3rd.  Timothy Finne- $126,199

4th.  Michele Limongi- $87,264

5th.  Christopher Amaral- $63,536

6th.  Martin Eikeng- $48,590

7th.  Gabriel Nassif- $38,947

8th.  Matthew Hawrilenko- $32,647
