Ferguson Proves His Dominance at The 2008 NHUPC
March 3, 2022
Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson has won the 2008 NBC National Heads-up Poker Championship. Ferguson bested fellow Full Tilt poker pro Andy Bloch, despite losing the first match to him in the best of three final.

To say Ferguson seems to run well at these events would at this point be a serious understatement. Ferguson holds the record for the most matches won since the event's inception in 2005. Ferguson has also made the final table three times out of four years, yet this was his first NHUPC victory.

It was by no means an easy road for Chris this year, having to beat John Juanda, Gavin Smith, Mike Matusow, Jonathan Little, Phil Ivey and finally Andy Bloch to become the 2008 National Heads-Up Poker champion.
