WASSUP '09: No Longer The Bridesmaid, Mueller Finally Takes The Bracelet
June 18, 2021

PokerRoad Fan favorite Greg "FBT" Mueller, after numerous previous World Series of Poker final tables including two runner-up finishes, was finally able to secure a victory and his first WSOP bracelet yesterday in Event #33- the $10,000 Limit Hold 'em World Championship.

Not one to make things easy on himself, to earn this particular bracelet Mueller had to outlast 184 other world-class competitors and survive a tough final day that featured Jennifer Harman, Matt Hawrilenko, Daniel Alaei, Chad Brown and PokerRoad's Maria Ho, a difficult task for even your most seasoned pro.?

Adding to the excitement of finally getting the WSOP bracelet monkey off his back, Mueller's victory yesterday seemed almost like it was written for a movie.  Greg, an ex-professional hockey player who competed in Europe but always wanted a shot at the National Hockey League, was able to claim the victory on the same day that the NHL happened to be in town with the Stanley Cup, filming a charity poker event for their network.  The highly competitive Mueller, may never have had the opportunity to hoist the Cup on the ice, but now as a professional poker player he owns poker's equivalent, a WSOP gold bracelet.

The final table finish positions for Event #33 were as follows:

1st.  Greg "FBT" Mueller- $460,841

2nd.  Pat Pezzin- $285,195

3rd.  Chad Brown- $188,855

4th.  Daniel Alaei- $134,772

5th.  Matthew Hawrilenko- $100,688

6th.  Matt Glantz- $80,341

7th.  Michiel Brummelhuis- $67,647

8th.  Soheil Shamseddin- $59,995

9th.  Kenny Hsiung- $55,995
