WASSUP '09: Event #32, Angel Flies To Glory
June 18, 2021

Mexico's Angel Guillen was the last man standing of a 1,534 person starting field in Event #32- the $2,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold 'em and as such earned himself his first World Series of Poker bracelet along with over a half million dollars in cash.

Guillen fended off Finland's Mika Paasonen thoughout the final table and then finished him off (no pun intended) during heads-up play, successfully preventing that country from earning it's first non-Wahlbeck related WSOP bracelet.  For the second place Paasonen earned $326,203.

The final table finish positions for Event #32 were as follows:

1st.  Angel Guillen- $530,548

2nd.  Mika Paasonen- $326,203

3rd.  Jason Boyes- $214,974

4th.  Steve Kohner- $150,761

5th.  Eric Ladny- $108,883

6th.  Daniel Makowsky- $86,548

7th.  Christopher MacNeil- $71,192

8th.  Antoine Amourette- $61,421

9th.  Clark Hamagami- $55,279
