WASSUP '09: Down To Eleven In The Thirty-Five
June 19, 2021

The $5,000 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha event (#35) at this year's World Series of Poker began on Wednesday with 363 players competing for yet another coveted gold bracelet.

Included in that opening group were many of the big names that over the years have helped make tournament poker so engaging including Daniel Negreanu, Mike Sexton, Carlos Mortensen, Scotty Nguyen, Erik Seidel, John Juanda and PokerRoad's Barry Greenstein

Of course few of these pros would be able to squeak into the top 30 spots and the money, but some that were successful in that goal included David "Devilfish" Ulliott (16th), Jeffrey Lisandro (33rd), Justin "Boosted J" Smith (36th), Raph Perry (14th) and a few others that are still alive for Day 3 and have a real shot at the $409,484 top prize.

Some of the players that are set to begin again today (6/19) in pursuit of the bracelet are Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy, Isaac Baron and the chip leader going into the final day Mr. Sorel Mizzi.
