In a year when getting bracelets at the World Series of Poker resembles a buy one get one free sale at Zales, Greg "FBT" Mueller has continued this surprising trend by winning his second WSOP Event in 2009.

Mueller, already known to be a limit hold 'em specialist, won his second bracelet in that discipline on Sunday when he took down Event #50- a $1,500 buy-in Shootout tournament that attracted 571 players. 

Mueller once again outlasted many well known pros to win this event including Tom Schneider, Gavin Smith, Nam Le, Allen Cunningham, Michael Mizrachi and PokerRoad President Joe Sebok.  Neither Sebok, Gavin, nor the other aforementioned pros were able to crack the 64 person Event #50 money bubble, with the exception of 2007 WSOP Player of the Year Schneider, who was able to hang on for a $4,356 cash before getting knocked out by Mueller during his second table's heads-up play.

For winning Event #50 Mueller earned $194,909, his second career bracelet and another 100 WSOP Player of the Year points, putting his total thus far at 240 points.  In 2007 that would have landed him solidly in second with 15 points less than Schneider but this year, "the year of the multiples," he's not even in the top three.

The final table finish positions for Event #50- the $1,500 Limit Hold 'em Shootout, were as follows:

1st.  Greg Mueller- $194,909

2nd.  Marc Naalden- $120,614

3rd.  Millie Shiu- $77,138

4th.  David Williams- $51,145

5th.  Matt Sterling- $35,058

6th.  Flaminio Malaquti- $24,824

7th.  Joseph Van Den Bijgaart - $18,136

8th.  Jose Barbero- $13,655
