WASSUP '09: Down To 19 In The $50K H.O.R.S.E
June 29, 2021

After three days of play in Event #49- the $50,000 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. Event, the original field of 95 all-star competitors has been whittled down to a lean and mean 19.

In that 3 table group, there still sit some of the most feared and confusing opponents in all of poker including Huck Seed, Chau Giang, Erik Seidel, Ville Wahlbeck, Tony G, Gus Hansen and Freddy Deeb, last year's defending $50K H.O.R.S.E. champion.

Despite surviving 3 tough days of tournament H.O.R.S.E. play, none of these 19 players are guaranteed to end up in the money as only 16 places pay and with this level of competition, anything can happen.

Day 4 of Event #49 begins today (6/29) at 2:00 p.m. Vegas time and can once again be virtually railed either by logging into the PokerRoad Nation and/or by checking the live updates and chip counts provided by sites like

Gus wins 250k in 8 hands of O8B (for real). Has hi card first hand of Razz. He then says "well, this razz round is off to a bad start!" LOL
-Howard Lederer
