WASSUP '09: Carsten Wins Last WSOP $1,500 NL Hold 'em of 2009

Joh Carsten, outlasted a huge field of 2,781 players yesterday to win his first World Series of Poker bracelet in Event #51- a $1,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold 'em tournament.

Carsten earned $664,426 for the victory after defeating poker pro Andrew Chen heads-up, despite Chen leading the final table for much of Day 3. Chen earned $412,632 for his second place cash, his third cash of this year's Series.

The final table finish positions for Event #51 were as follows:

1st.  Joh Carsten- $664,426

2nd.  Andrew Chen- $412,632

3rd.  David Walasinki- $272,405

4th.  Steven Levy- $192,650

5th.  Owen Crowe- $145,199

6th.  Thibaut Durand- $115,817

7th.  Georgios Kapalas- $97,634

8th.  Jason Helder- $86,702

9th.  Nathan Page- $80,894
