WASSUP '09: Le And Juanda Make #55 Final Nine
July 1, 2021

The World Series of Poker, 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball, Event #55 final Nine are set to begin again today, and as is often the case with these slightly more obscure games, we once again have quite a few well known pros still in it to win it.

John Juanda, Blair Rodman and Nam Le have all reached the difficult Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw final nine, a fact which almost certainly made it tough for the other final nine opponents to get any sleep last night.  Together these three have earned over $13 million in tournament cashes.

Over $5,000,000 of those cashes belongs to Nam Le, yet remarkably unlike Rodman and Juanda, he has never actually won a World Series of Poker bracelet, putting him easily near the top of the list of pros that are more than due.

Certainly Nam wants this win, but as this is Juanda's fourth final table of this year's Series, he's probably a little hungry for the W as well, which should make for some exciting final table fireworks.

Hertzel Zalewski - 111000

Nam Le - 95000

Masayoshi Tanaka - 345000
