Dream Team Poker Day 1
July 13, 2021

The first day of the Dream Team Poker event at this year's World Series of Poker (non-bracelet event) attracted an impressive 366 players for a total of 122 teams.

Among those teams sat many well known top pros including PokerRoad Radio's Gavin Smith (Team Zurvive), Kenna James (Poker Host), Susie Isaacs (Team SimpleTrak), Jerry Yang (Team Six Hands, Four Nutz, and a Rack onTilt), Matt Savage (Slightly Above Saverage), Justin Bonomo (Team Bodog), Liz Lieu (ChiliPoker), Dan "The Wolfman" Michalski (Tao of Pokerati) and Barry Greenstein and Joe Stapleton representing Team PokerRoad.com.

Unfortunately, Team PokerRoad.com didn't fair so well during yesterday's Day 1 (perhaps a bit distracted with their boy Joe Sebok still in the Main Event a few rooms away) but other top teams including Kenna's, Susie's and "The Wolfman's" did much better and are still in the hunt, gunning for a top team prize worth $33,017, as well as a top individual prize worth $16,473 (not bad for a $500 entry).

Day 2 of the Rio's Dream Team Poker event starts on Monday.  For more information on the Dream Team Poker concept visit www.dreamteampoker.com.
