PartyGaming Still Smarting From Loss of U.S. Players
March 5, 2022
The 2007 earnings report from PartyGaming has been released and, despite marked growth, things are still shaky. PartyGaming's EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest Taxes Depreciation and Amortization) shows clearly that despite continued growth outside the U.S. market in 2007 (+$5.3 million), the total operations are down significantly (-$20.7 million)- mostly due to discontinued U.S. operations. Despite this, PartyGaming is still on track to meet it's 2008 core profit forecast of $174 million.

Along with the release of the 2007 report came word that CEO Mitch Garber would be leaving the company, choosing not to extend his contract beyond May 2009. There is no word yet as to Garber's successor.
