This seems to be the week to announce earnings as Playtech Ltd and Sportingbet PLC have each released their 2007 reports. The reports, similar to PartyGaming's, show recent improvements, but are still a far cry from market projections before losing the lucrative US market.

Sportingbet PLC announced in their report a 19.8% increase in net gaming revenue over the last quarter and a 7.0% increase for the half. Despite this, Sportingbet is still 29% off its pre-UIGEA revenues.

Playtech Ltd's revenue, though similar, was actually able to post a positive revenue growth of 15% for the year despite the UIGEA. This was possible due to an impressive 86% overall growth in the non-US market.

Even with the harsh financial consequences of the UIGEA, it is apparent that both Sportingbet PLC and Playtech Ltd are growing stronger each quarter - a marked trend that seems likely to continue.
