Ante Up For Africa Goes Virtual With Full Tilt Poker
August 13, 2021

This week, during ESPN's poker night programming, viewers were treated to an inside look at the Ante Up For Africa poker tournament held annually during the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Ante Up For Africa traditionally attracts the biggest names in sports, poker and entertainment, and regular folks this year once again got the opportunity to play with all of them, while helping to raise money and attention for countless African refugees in need.

Of course for those not lucky enough to be in Vegas during the Series, or for those unable to drop thousands in a poker game- no matter how worthy of a cause, there is now an opportunity to play in an Ante Up For Africa tournament online with celebrities like Ocean's Eleven's Don Cheadle, for as little as $1.00 USD.

This Saturday, August 15th, Ante Up For Africa and Full Tilt Poker are teaming up to bring online players the unique opportunity to participate in an Ante Up For Africa tournament, as part of the thirteenth incarnation of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS).

Players can buy into the event directly, which starts at 3:00p.m. EST, for $100 +$20, or satellite in for substantially less (or even just by using Full Tilt Player Points).  The event has a $100,000 posted guarantee, assuring a top prize worth at least $22,500 and the entire house rake for each entry (i.e. that +$20 mentioned earlier) will be donated directly to Ante Up For Africa.

To sign up for this exciting tournament, which is sure to be filled with celebrities and top Full Tilt Pros, visit the FTOPS section under the "Tournaments" tab in the Full Tilt Poker Lobby and then register for the NL Hold 'em tournament slated to start at 15:00 ET, August 15th.
