WSOP Main Event Coverage Starts Tonight!
August 18, 2021

Coming on the heels of a recent announcement that ESPN and Harrah's Interactive Entertainment will officially be in bed together through at least 2018, ESPN's World Series Of Poker Main Event coverage officially kicks off tonight (8/18/09) as part of their weekly "Poker Night" programming.

This first episode of Main Event coverage- set to roll at 8:00p.m. EST- will begin to show the process of filtering down 6,494 players into a lean and mean final nine; a process that will continue to unfold on ESPN from tonight until early November, when those final nine come together again to finally play down to a champion.

Tonight's episodes will feature classic commentating from Norman Chad and Lon McEachern, as well as the play of players like Allen Cunningham, Gus Hansen, Greg "FBT" Mueller and PokerRoad Radio's Gavin Smith.
