Following what seems to be a popular online poker trend lately, PokerStars has created a new heads-up poker show with FOX Television, giving lucky qualifiers a chance at winning a $1,000,000 score, if they can just outlast a few tough players in heads-up No-Limit Hold 'em.

The new show, entitled the PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge, will feature All Strategy's Daniel Negreanu as both a coach and one of the main competitors, at first helping players succeed with useful tips and suggestions and then sitting down against them and crushing their dreams. 

If players can somehow survive the preliminary matches of the show, which will most likely feature other PokerStars pros and celebrity players, as well as the one with Negreanu himself, they will have the opportunity to move on to the grand final event, scheduled for December 27th.

FOX's Million Dollar Challenge is set to debut mid October, and PokerStars players have already begun to qualify by competing in nightly freeroll tournaments, running twice daily at 8p.m. and 11p.m. EST.  To qualify players need to get into the top ten of any one of these tournaments- from now until November 25th- and then send a tape to PokerStars explaining why as a qualifier they're perfect for this new exciting show.
