PokerStars Heads To The Baltics
September 2, 2021

PokerStars.com, the world's largest online poker room, has announced plans for a brand new live poker tournament to be held in exotic Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, which they're calling the PokerStars Baltic Festival.

The EUR1,100 buy-in tournament that headlines the Festival, with smaller side events to be announced at a later time, is scheduled to run from October 28th to the 31st and was created as an opportunity for the many good poker players in that region that aren't usually given the chance to compete in live, bigger buy-in events.

"We have hundreds of thousands of poker players in the Nordic countries, the Baltic States and Russia, but so far there have only been a few attractive live tournaments," explained Tomas Larsson, PokerStars Country Manager Finland & Baltic's. "Our ambition with this festival is to create the ultimate live poker experience similar to what players find at the most prestigious events in the world like the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas and the European Poker Tour's Grand Final in Monte Carlo, combining a luxurious venue with the best live poker in the Baltic's."

As with most major PokerStars sponsored tournaments, satellites for the Baltic Festival will be available on PokerStars and will run throughout much of September and October- some starting for as little as $2.20.
