Harrah's Positioned For Expansion Both Live And Online
September 15, 2021

It seems Harrah's entertainment has been busy lately, not only has the world's largest casino company apparently begun it's foray into the online poker world by signing with the Dragonfish unit of 888 Holdings Plc- the company behind Pacific Poker and Casino-on-Net, yesterday it was reported in the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the company has also bought a significant portion of Planet Hollywood's $860 million debt load, perhaps to position itself to acquire the ailing Las Vegas strip casino sometime in the future.

Although neither of these moves currently change Harrah's position in either the online or live gaming markets, both seem to suggest that Harrah's- despite their own financial issues- is more than prepared to capitalize on any major opportunities brought about through either new federal legislation or changes in the economy.
