WCOOP NEWS Day 13: Still Lucky For Many Players
September 16, 2021

With another three events completed yesterday at the PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker, were getting dangerously close to the final tournament of the WCOOP, Sunday's $10,000,000 guarantee, WCOOP Main Event!

Yesterday's three tournaments were a mixed bag, with two of the three busting their posted guarantees, and one providing a juicy overlay for its many players (and perhaps not the one you would think).

Interestingly, it was the tournament seemingly built for action junkies, the Pot-Limit Omaha w/rebuys, 6-max event, that couldn't quite make it's $700,000 guarantee, despite nearly 800 players and over 1,400 rebuys/add-ons.  Whereas both the Hold 'em and 7-Card Stud events, attracted significantly more players than originally expected.

Some of the day's big winners included online player "df1986," who easily earned the most money with a $160,525.11 score and Hevad Khan, the only PokerStars Pro of the day to make a final table.
